What we look for
Partner standards
Partnerships are long-term. We are selective about who joins because every partner shapes how readers feel about the platform. The standards below apply across all five programs, with extra requirements layered on for the operator network.
Verifiable operations
Registered business, valid insurance, and demonstrable track record in the relevant market.
Ethical practice
No captive wildlife encounters, fair labour, fair-tipping disclosure, and environmental stewardship in line with regional standards.
Communicative team
Partnerships work when there’s a real human on each end. We respond fast and expect the same.
Alignment on quality
We won’t partner with brands that build their economics on misleading photography, hidden fees or scripted reviews.
FAQ
Common questions
How long does it take to launch a partnership?
Operator network and affiliate sign-up usually takes 1–2 weeks. DMO and API partnerships are typically 4–8 weeks from first call to launch, depending on scope.
Can we run advertising and partnership programs together?
Yes — many partners do. We package combined plans (sponsorship + advertising + editorial) with bundled pricing.
What standards do operator partners have to meet?
Insurance and safety certification, transparent pricing, fair labour and tipping practices, and no canned-hunting, captive-wildlife or animal-encounter activities that compromise welfare.
Do you accept partners from outside Africa?
If you sell Africa-focused travel or content, yes. Most of our agency, affiliate and API partners are based outside the continent.
